Every casino has a house edge. Vendetta Saloon has one too. It is how the platform stays solvent, pays jackpots, and funds the treasury burns. But unlike most casinos, a meaningful portion of that edge comes back to players who stick around. The VIP system returns up to 40% of your net losses automatically, credited as bonus chips, with no opt-in and no claiming process required.
There are four tiers. Drifter is where everyone starts: no rakeback, just the base game. Once you have wagered 5,000 chips across any combination of games, you reach Outlaw and earn 5% of net losses back. Wager 100,000 chips lifetime and Gunslinger unlocks at 25% rakeback. The top tier, Marshal, kicks in at 500,000 chips wagered and returns 40% of every net losing session.
Rakeback is calculated on net losses, not gross wagers. If you wager 1,000 chips and win 800 back, your net loss is 200 chips and that is the figure your rakeback rate is applied to. A Gunslinger player in that scenario gets 50 chips back. A Marshal gets 80. The credits land in your bonus chip balance automatically at the end of each session. There is nothing to claim.
The math matters here. At Marshal tier, a 40% loss rebate effectively reduces the house edge from your perspective. The standard house RTP across Vendetta Saloon games targets 85%, meaning 15 chips are kept by the house per 100 wagered on average. A Marshal player earning 40% of net losses back is recovering a large fraction of that 15-chip edge over time. It does not make gambling profitable in the long run, but it significantly extends your effective bankroll and time at the table.
Tier progress is permanent and cumulative. It never resets, regardless of how long you go between sessions. Wager 80,000 chips this month and pause for three months: when you return and wager another 20,000 you will cross the Gunslinger threshold. The counter only moves forward.
Your current tier and progress toward the next one are visible on your profile page and in the VIP section of the site. The leaderboard also shows tier badges next to player addresses, so your status is public. Marshal badge holders get direct access to the ops team for personal support, the only tier with that perk.
If you are deciding which games to play, the rakeback system is tier-agnostic. Every chip wagered across any game counts toward your lifetime total. Paydirt, Deadeye Shootout, Viper Run, Dead Man's Hand: all of it accumulates. The fastest path to higher tiers is consistent play across your preferred games, not grinding any specific one.
